Device Compatibility
This e-liquid has a 40VG/60PG ratio, which is thinner than high-VG freebase formulas. It is designed for use in low-wattage, mouth-to-lung (MTL) devices and pod systems. It is not suitable for sub-ohm tanks or high-wattage direct-lung devices.
TIP:
Salt nicotine e-liquids require a low-wattage pod system or MTL device. Using this liquid in a sub-ohm or high-wattage setup can result in an overly harsh experience and is not recommended. View compatible devices in our Beginner Friendly Starter Kits collection.
Salt Nicotine vs. Freebase Nicotine
Salt nicotine uses a different chemical form of nicotine than standard freebase e-liquids. Key differences include:
- Throat hit: Salt nic delivers a smoother inhale at higher nicotine concentrations compared to freebase at equivalent strengths.
- Flavour: The formulation can produce a more defined flavour output due to the use of natural nicotine salt compounds.
- Device requirement: Salt nic liquids are formulated for low-wattage pod systems and MTL devices — not sub-ohm hardware.
- Nicotine absorption: Salt nicotine is absorbed more rapidly than freebase nicotine.
