Vaporesso XROS 6, 6 Mini, & Pro 2: Everything You Need to Know

Hey Medicine Hat!

The next generation of the Vaporesso XROS family has officially arrived at Gas City Vapes. We know that navigating new hardware releases can sometimes be confusing, especially with multiple devices launching at once.

To help clarify the differences and highlight what has changed from the older models, we have put together a straightforward breakdown of the new XROS 6, XROS 6 Mini, and XROS Pro 2.

You can view the full specifications, available colors, and pricing on our Vaporesso XROS Collection Page. Below is a quick guide answering the most common questions we receive about the new lineup.

Which model is right for my vaping style?

Vaporesso has structured this release to cover different preferences, from simple to advanced. Here is how the three new devices compare:

The XROS 6: This model serves as the standard baseline. It features an 1800mAh battery, adjustable power settings, and a screen to monitor your battery and wattage. It offers a balance of control and standard size.

The XROS 6 Mini: Designed for those who prefer a smaller footprint. It removes the screen and buttons in favor of a strictly auto-draw system. Despite the compact size, it still houses a 1600mAh battery.

The XROS Pro 2: Built for heavy usage. It includes a 2000mAh battery, a puff tracker, and a full-color screen. It is constructed from a magnesium alloy, which keeps the device lightweight despite the larger battery capacity.

Are older XROS pods compatible with the new devices?

Yes, Vaporesso has maintained cross-compatibility. Any older XROS replacement pods you currently have will work with the XROS 6, 6 Mini, and Pro 2.

The new kits do come with Vaporesso’s updated COREX 3.0 pods in the box. These newer pods utilize a redesigned mesh structure and aerospace-grade cotton, which are engineered to provide more consistent wicking and heat distribution than the previous generation.

What are the battery and charging specifications?

Battery capacity has increased across all three models compared to previous generations, which extends the time between charges:

XROS Pro 2: 2000mAh battery.

XROS 6: 1800mAh battery. This model also supports 3A fast charging, allowing the device to reach a 50% charge in approximately 10 minutes.

XROS 6 Mini: 1600mAh battery.

What is the "60s Smart Prime" feature?

The XROS 6 and 6 Mini introduce a system called the 60s Smart Prime. When you fill a brand-new, dry pod with e-liquid, this feature is designed to properly saturate the internal cotton in 60 seconds. This reduces the standard waiting time and helps prevent users from accidentally burning a dry coil on their first draw.

Which pods should I use with my e-liquid?

The XROS series accommodates a wide range of pod resistances. We generally recommend matching them up as follows:

For Nicotine Salts (Higher Nicotine, 50/50 VG/PG): Use the 0.8Ω, 1.0Ω, or 1.2Ω pods. These provide a tighter, Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) draw.

For Freebase E-liquids (Lower Nicotine, Higher VG): Use the 0.4Ω or 0.6Ω pods. These provide a looser, Restricted Direct Lung (RDL) draw.

How does the new leak-resistant technology work?

While no open-pod system can be entirely immune to physics or condensation, Vaporesso has implemented their Upgraded SSS Leak-Resistant Tech 2.0 in the new pods. This update focuses on improved internal structural sealing and thermal management to minimize the chance of e-liquid escaping the pod chamber.
