Shipping Update for Gas City Vapes Customers

Gas City Vapes is committed to getting your orders to you smoothly and efficiently. We're closely monitoring the situation regarding the labour disruption at Canada Post, which is set to commence on Friday, May 23, 2025, according to the strike notices issued. While we hope for a speedy resolution, we've taken proactive steps to minimize any impact on your vape mail.

Shipping Policy Changes

We're still shipping!

Despite disruptions with Canada Post, Gas City Vapes will continue to ship orders. To ensure the best possible service during this period, we are making the following temporary adjustments to our shipping policy:

Primary Courier Switch to Purolator

  • We will be temporarily switching our primary shipping services to Purolator. Purolator has proven to be reliable and mostly consistent delivery times compared to Canada Post.

No Shipping to PO Boxes

  • The Canada Post strike means that we'll be temporarily unable to ship orders to PO box addresses. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
  • Customers will need to provide their street mailing address to receive shipping rates at checkout.

Alternative Courier Options

  • In instances where Purolator delivery is not available for your specific address, we will explore shipping options with FedEx or another suitable alternative courier, if available.

Checkout Issues? Contact Us!

If no shipping options are presented to you during checkout, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team at sales@gascityvapes.com or by phone at (403) 529-0031. We will gladly assist you in creating your order.

My Order Was Shipped via Canada Post

For Customers with orders that are currently in transit with Canada Post:

We understand you may have concerns if your order was shipped in the days leading up to any potential service interruption and is currently in transit with Canada Post.

What to Expect: All Canada Post mail & parcel delivery is set to cease Friday May 23 2025. Packages already within the Canada Post network will be secured and held until the strike concludes, after which they will be delivered as quickly as possible. However, significant delays in receiving these parcels are probable, even after normal operations resume, due to the backlog they've caused.

What Gas City Vapes Can Do: Once a package is in the hands of Canada Post, our ability to intervene is limited. We can help you track your parcel up to the point of the service disruption and provide any updates we receive from the carrier.

What We Cannot Do: Unfortunately, we cannot expedite parcels caught up in a Canada Post strike, nor can we reroute them once they are in Canada Post's system. We are also unable to offer refunds for late deliveries or parcels delayed due to a strike, as the situation is beyond our direct control.

Our Commitment to You

The team at Gas City Vapes sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that Canada Post disruptions and subsequently our temporary policy adjustments may cause. This situation is entirely out of our hands, and we are working diligently to adapt and continue serving you.

Please be aware that a Canada Post service disruption typically leads to increased volumes and delays for all courier services, including Purolator, FedEx, and others, as they manage the overflow.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding during this time.

We encourage you to place your orders accordingly, keeping these potential delays in mind. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and update you with any significant developments.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
